About the course

The Animation course offers trainees a 24-week hands-on approach to mastering animation principles within the VFX realm. Participants learn to animate using provided rigs and a tracked plate, demonstrating their understanding through diverse material interactions. With a concise lesson structure, each module emphasizes practical learning and regular feedback sessions.

Trainees are also introduced to animating with a tracked camera, understanding environmental impacts, and honing scene presentation skills. Through live sessions and assignments, participants enhance competencies in communication, feedback reception, meeting deadlines, proficiency in animation workflow and scene debugging.

Recommended skills

Basic understanding of Maya, Nuke, Adobe Suite & DaVinci resolve
Knowledge of basic animation
Knowledge of the 12 principles of animation
Basic understanding of weight, timing and spacing
Good time management
