About the course

The Layout Course at Technicolor Creative Studios prepares students for a career in
the animation and VFX fields as Layout artists.

Our layout program spans from the basics of layout to advanced techniques. The course features step-by-step and easily comprehensible video tutorials, and regular support from industry professions, for students to learn at ease, employing
applications like Maya and 3D Equalizer.

In just 8 weeks, you will acquire techniques with 3D Equalizer and skillfully apply them
in Maya through this course. It proves to be an excellent starting point for your first
job in production!

Recommended skills

Basic understanding of Maya
Basic knowledge of 3DEqualizer
Basic knowledge of modeling, animation, and camera animation
Understanding object constraints & parenting
Understanding of camera and camera lens functionality
