Technicolor India is delighted to announce its strategic partnership with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Akshaya Patra Foundation, Learning Links Foundation and CARE India via its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in India.
Through its support to these NGO partners, Technicolor India is developing impactful initiatives that are timely interventions in the lives of underprivileged children, particularly young women, and girls. The projects provide strategic avenues to aid learning, target skill development and enable them to access upskilling programs at an individual as well as community level.
We are fortunate to partner with NGOs that provide a wealth of knowledge, on-ground expertise and resources that enhance our CSR efforts, allowing Technicolor to maximize the positive impact these projects can create.
These partnerships have helped Technicolor India:
Support Government schools to provide unlimited, wholesome cooked meals every school day to cover primary nutritional requirements.
Technicolor India has partnered with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, to adopt Government Schools in Karnataka for the purpose of providing nutritious mid-day meals to over 4500 children in Bengaluru and Hubli.
Inspire creativity and innovation among young women by providing a nurturing and supportive environment for coding and STEM skills development.
Technicolor India in partnership with Learning Links Foundation encourages students to explore the world of coding through a game design platform, the “SheCodes” Innovation Programme, which has benefitted 700 students in three schools with over 12 teachers trained to sustain the programme.
Establish vibrant STEAM learning spaces aimed at providing students with problem-solving and creativity skills in STEAM fields.
Technicolor India has collaborated with Care India to create STEAM learning spaces or “Innovators’ Laboratories” at six upper primary schools in Bengaluru to build problem solving skills and creativity among girls. The initiative benefits approximately 700 children in rural Bengaluru, both in the primary and secondary levels of education.
To contribute to these efforts, Technicolor will engage its employees through volunteering activities, promoting a culture of giving back to society and creating a sense of purpose., Technicolor strongly believes that positive change can be achieved through these collaborations, for the benefit of present and future generations.
I am extremely pleased to announce that our company is collaborating with three esteemed organizations to foster a brighter future for young children through enhanced educational and skill development initiatives. Our partnership with these organizations is borne of our commitment to provide the next generation with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in the ever-evolving world. Together, we are building a bridge to opportunity, unlocking the true potential of our youth and nurturing a generation of changemakers and leaders.
